So my car, Mister, has been leaking oil and transmission fluid, from what I can tell and what my Manager thinks, it is the crankshaft seal that is going out. So I have at least 1 bottle of oil just sitting in my car now just so if I get low, I can fill-er-up at least a bit to keep her running. I’m not quite sure what I should do, get a new car (or a scooter has been suggested more than once to me)? Spend a lot of time and money trying to get it fixed? I’m not sure what to do, but its for sure, either way I am going to have to spend money I don’t have trying to get my car running as I think it should, namely not leaking oil when I park him.

My work is having their Quarterly (I think) highway cleanup so I am going to go do that tomorrow moring at 8am. Not too exciting but not too bad, it will help the environment, even if just a little bit. Anything is better than nothing right? Plus it will be with a whole bunch of nerds (Maybe? I’m not sure) so that could be lots of fun, I just need to make it fun.

Mushu has been getting really big, it is suprising me, he used to fit really easily in the plam of my hand, and now he is the size of my palm. I can’t wait until he gets huge, I expect it to be at least 4 more months until he is the size that Leo is now, and with Leo you have to use 2 hands to comfortably hold him now adays.

Anyway I’m going to get back to programming, hopefully it can calm me down enough that I can figure out what to do about my car.

Leo has gotten huge and so Amy got him a 40 gallon tank finally. here are some new pictures of him in his new tank:

You may wonder why I am going so crazy with pictures. Well, the reason is my old camera died, however there was a recall on the model so I got a nice new camera in exchange for me giving me the broken one. It is a Cannon PowerShot SX100 IS. You can see more about it here. I got the black one and it is nice. A bit bigger than my old one, but that is perfectly alright, it has a higher resolution on its pictures and it is black instead of white, rock on!

So today Leo got so mad at me, I should have thought to take some video or something, it was crazy.  Here is how it went down:

I was sitting on our couch facing the TV, and I had gotten him out so he could explore like he usually does, I saw him bolt for the hallway and I got up to watch him to make sure he didn’t get anywhere bad. When I got close to him, he got angry for some reason. He puffed up, flattened out and started hissing at me, I just stood there looking at him asking him what is making him so angry. After about a minute or two, he starting hopping towards me, it was funny to me, but I can see why other animals would see that as scary. Not wanting to hurt him, but wanting to put him back in his cage, I jumped the couch and ran to my room to grab a towel. After I grabbed the towel I threw it on him. As blue, fuzzy, loud hissing bundle, I picked him up with the towel and put him back in his cage. I put the towel on the ground and sat back on the coutch. Somehow I was still making him mad so I put the towel over his cage and by the time Amy and Brandon got home, he had calmed down quite a bit enough that they were able to pick him right up without any problems. I am still not sure what I did to make him so mad but he seems just fine now. We all think that he just wasn’t feeling well (like a stomach ache or something)

I have been slowly trying to get myself used to waking up at 7:00 (or earlier) once again. I am using Mushu’s timer for his lights to wake me up, currently they are set to about 7:30 so give it another week and I will be up and running at 7:00am each morning for school and my job at the Utah Statesman. I need to save this money I get from the Statesman for more important things than impulse buys, maybe I need to make a 90 day list. For those who do not know, a 90 day list is a list you write something on, and if you still want it 90 days later then I can get it. In-fact I have just created that 90 day list here: http://blog.dattasmoon.com/90-day-list/ I will post things there that I want, you guys can comment on them if you want and if I still want the things 90 days later, I can get them.

Mushu is doing great, we put a lot more stuff in his tank, I need to take pictures, but my batteries are dead, give me till Friday, and then I will have them up for your viewing pleasure (or dread, whatever). He has a new favorite spot. There is a vine in there and he loves to climb to the top and just cling there, last night I found him there sleeping when I got home from work. I woke him up, and escorted him to his log for the night.

So, if you didn’t already hear, I couldn’t stand it, I needed my own bearded dragon. So I bought my own bearded Dragon named Mushu and here he is:

Mushu

he is a cute little guy. He likes to chase his reflection, eat crickets, and suggle on your chest (if you make him a cave with your hand). He live in a 40 gallon tank which sits on a new (from the DI) coffee table which has spaces below in which you can store crickets. Here is a picture of the cage on the Coffee Table:

I am going to start buying crickets in bulk. In bulk they cost $.03 per Cricket including shipping where as I go to Petsmart and it costs $.09 per Cricket. I will show the cricket setup when we have it all setup.
